I am using Microsoft SQL server 2005 Business Intelligence Development Studio to build a cube.

I need to calculate a member called INCREMENTAL OVERTIME. INCREMENTAL OVERTIME is based off of the OVERTIME member I already have in the cube, but has more specific criteria.

INCREMENTAL OVERTIME is calculated when at a single day in the DATE dimension and a single employee in the EMPLOYEE dimension has more than 0 OVERTIME and less than 1.5 OVERTIME.

I thought it would be best to calculate this using MDX in the calculations tab. Does anyone know how this might be done? Or have any suggestions on how to calculate this?

Can you add some more info about your cube? What is the hierarchy of the date dimension? – JNK Jun 5 '12 at 17:12
