I am looking for a database comparison tool for IBM DB2. I was wondering if there is a utility for IBM DB2 similar to OPatch in Oracle's db 11g?

can you tell me what you want to accomplish with such a tool? as far as I know OPatch does not compare databases. Toad for Oracle i a tool to compare databases. As far as I know there is also a Toad version for db2 but I do not know if it can compare databases. – miracle173 Sep 6 '12 at 6:23

1 Answer 1

Toad for DB2 is able to compare schemas between two databases.

There is another product called dbsolo that will do this.

Toad is the one I would recommend.

You may want to explain why you would recommend one product over the other - this helps the original poster leverage your experience. – Max Vernon Sep 25 '12 at 1:44
