I have a small medical marketing business that leads me into the offices of 300-400 physicians, some of whom share office locations. I visit some of these physicians once per month and others up to an annual visit. Does anyone have software recommendations that would allow me to record notes form different visits to these respective physicians over time? I'm torn between staying with my PC or buying a MacBook. Free software is ideal, but I am willing to make a modest purchase. Thanks.

Do you have any specific requirements? Do you store the same information for each place you visit, or is it more of a "free text report" like minutes of a meeting? If the former, you may want a tool like for example Microsoft Access, but if the latter, maybe a simple directory structure with on folder per practice and files named with dates could suffice? Mac OS X has great searching functionality built-in (Spotlight) that could be enough. – Colin 't Hart Oct 15 '12 at 13:49
This is off-topic here I'm afraid—good luck with your search. – Jack Douglas Oct 15 '12 at 14:03
