We have an existing Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 database that we need to real time replicate to an identical off-site live web database.

Transactional replication and merge replication will not be able to work for us.

Can anyone suggest a different tool or replication type that will allow for us to have the two live SQL databases (one in house and and the web db)?

we would have to re-code the front end application if we want to use transactional replication and we would have to rebuild 35-40 tables as well. – Joel Oct 17 '12 at 14:54
@Joel - you should add that to your question, along with an explanation about why you'd need the extra tables. Detail is key for a situation like this. – Max Vernon Oct 17 '12 at 14:55

@Joel: You're trying to create a second identical copy of the database, correct? (Replication can operate on only parts of a database.) I'm assuming you don't need to perform writes on the secondary database? – Jon Seigel Oct 17 '12 at 17:18
