I have a joomla website functioning locally on MAMP but phpmyadmin cannot access database to dump and go to remote server. The database list column at left indicates there are 62 tables with a (62)next to the name, but the database when opened just has 2 tables, and a dump only takes 2 tables with it. I am desparate to get this site live, but cannot until I can dump all the database. I have other databases on there which function correctly.

Do you try to connect on phpmyadmin with the same user and password as joomla does? – dezso Nov 21 '12 at 10:49
