I have read lots of theory about big data but I can't find any concrete and technical sample of big data.

The problem is that I don't know how but big data works in reality from a technical perspective.

Any concrete sample or previous work? If possible, I would like to see it i SQL server

What theory? Big data is big data. Just search for white papers on SQL Server Hadoop. Yahoo and Klout will probably be in the top two searches. – Shawn Melton Dec 15 '12 at 19:00

Big Data is just a buzzword. It has no formal definition. In practice you can define it as 'any data set big enough that you need exotic kit to do something useful with it.' – ConcernedOfTunbridgeWells Dec 15 '12 at 22:15
