My web application is storing the currency as strange symbols. I have the same web application running in two different machines connecting to same database. One is working fine, accepts currency symbols and stores them correctly in db but the other does not. What might be the difference? Database is oracle 11

What is the column type you are storing the data in and what is your character set? – Leigh Riffel Dec 26 '12 at 14:33
Could you define "strange symbols?" Edit your question and paste some examples of the symbols you see – billinkc Dec 26 '12 at 19:28
It'll be a NLS_LANG problem, but you need to edit your question and explain the problem more thoroughly. – Phil Dec 26 '12 at 20:41
