For some reason 3 tables which are clearly in use by the application are not listed in the Tables view in SQL Server Enterprise Manager. It's SQL Server 2000. When generating a diagram, a popup appears stating that those tables couldn't be loaded. The weird thing is that data from those tables is actually returned in the application (not cache).

Is there anything specific about table names? – Carol Baker West Jan 2 '13 at 11:33

As far as I'm concerned not. They are named News, News_Reactions and Gallery. – Abel Jan 2 '13 at 11:39

Any chance the login that you use to connect to the enterprise manager does not have permissions? – WrinkleFree Jan 2 '13 at 11:40

Does checkdb run clean on that database? – cfradenburg Jan 2 '13 at 17:51

Do you have 2005 or better installed also on this server? – PollusB Jan 8 '13 at 20:47
