I am using Bucardo tool on PostgreSQL 9.0 with RHEL-6 as OS. Suddenly I have encountered high memory consumption and the database is running slow. So I had stopped and restarted PostgreSQL; this solved the problems temporarily. But I need a permanent solution to fix this thing.

Kindly let me know what should be done to stop "high memory consumption by Bucardo tool on PostgreSQL".

How do you know that Bucardo is the culprit? What's more, since it is a replication tool, it would be interesting to know whether the slow database is a master or a slave. – dezso Feb 22 at 12:28
