Caution You cannot mix localhost and other host names or IP addresses in config.ini. For these reasons, the solution in such cases (other than to use IP addresses for all config.ini HostName entries) is to remove the fully qualified host names from /etc/hosts and use these in config.ini for all cluster hosts.

I understand localhost can't be used in config.ini but I'm confused as to what has to be removed. I would think that a fully qualified name has to be defined for 127.0.0.1 then used in config.ini even though it's local.

I think that this note is off. Can someone with some mysql cluster experience explain a little?
