We have 3 servers running in a percona mysql cluster. Two of the servers in the cluster are running on older hardware specs. The third is a real monster with a lot of RAM and SSD hard drives and so on.

The problem I'm facing is that queries are very slow on the new more powerful server. A test query I've been using takes ~70s to perform on the older servers and ~177s on the new server so it is significant.

Does anyone have any clues to why this happens? Any points of directions and/or suggestions on how to solve this problem would be most welcomed.
