I am trying to connect to my local database Oracle 10g XE however i am getting the following error ORA - 12528. This connection was working and this issue suddenly arose. I did LSNRCTL status the results are under:

What can i do to resolve this problem?

Running instance with BLOCKED registration means the instance is in NOMOUNT state. First (actually second) line of alert log: "ORA-600 signalled during: ALTER DATABASE MOUNT..." definitely indicates a problem, unfortunately the actual ORA-600 is not present in the log. The rest is almost meaningless at first glance, just some shutdown/startup attempts without details. If possible, open a command prompt and log in to the database with "sqlplus / as sysdba", then do a "startup force", and post the output. That should provide some more details about that ORA-600 when mounting the database. –  Balazs Papp Jan 6 at 17:23
