I want to export data from Postgresql, and I tried many ways then find the tutorial of Excel PostgreSQL Import, Export & Convert Software on Youtube.

I installed the software, but I could not make excel connect to the postgresql manager: enter image description here

I have checked the detail in the blank and still couldn't make connection.

What should I do to solve this? Are there better ways to make postgresql-excel connection than using this software? Thanks for giving me advices.

This question appears to be off-topic because it is about PostgreSQL and probably should be on databases Stack Exchange. –  Fezter Jan 8 '14 at 10:21

1 Answer 1

you could export data in CSV format with psql as explain here. After that you can import the csv file in Excel.
