Here is my my.cnf
[mysqld] port = 3306 socket = /var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock tmpdir = /qual/MySQL/tmp skip-external-locking key_buffer_size = 256M max_allowed_packet = 2G table_open_cache = 256 sort_buffer_size = 1M read_buffer_size = 1M read_rnd_buffer_size = 4M myisam_sort_buffer_size = 64M thread_cache_size = 8 query_cache_type = 1 query_cache_size= 64M innodb_file_per_table=1 innodb_file_format=barracuda thread_concurrency = 8 default_storage_engine = INNODB log-bin=mysql-bin binlog_format=mixed server-id = 1 innodb_buffer_pool_size = 10G wait_timeout = 86400 net_write_timeout = 120 net_read_timeout = 60
