There is a program at work that runs on a directory full of *.dbf (FoxPro "tables") and *.cdx (FoxPro "indexes") files. The program itself has two menu items that we run every day to maintain the program's database: Optimize Databases and Reform Indexes. Is there a function of FoxPro that can be used to #1 rebuild the indexes and #2 Optimize the database on a directory of files like this?
