To whom it may respond to,

While monitoring our databases, we have seen that one of EM screens has gone pink, the color stands for OTHER at the legend. We have checked alert log and trc files, indicating deadlocks, but not sure that is the reason or not. Any further methods that you can offer to dig out the root cause of this?

Thank you for concern,

Click on 'Other' work in EM performance monitor page. It will take you to next screen. If you don't have RAC it will directly show you another graph with wait events which are categorized as OTHER. Then you can pick the most troublesome one and diagnose further. If you have RAC, it will show you graph for all active instances, you will have to pick an instance to see individual event level graph. The answer has to be diagnosed and won't always be listed in alert.log or tracefiles. Hope this helps. – Raj Mar 25 '14 at 13:56
