Database Administrators Stack Exchange is a question and answer site for database professionals who wish to improve their database skills and learn from others in the community. It's 100% free, no registration required.

I have an AccessDB that queries that appears to function as expected under light loading (i.e., 1-2 users), no errors, SQL Server returns the desired results.

We tried to test using 8 concurrent users from our India office and we are seeing multiple issues:

ODBC--call failed.  [Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver]Communication link failure (#0)

ODBC--call failed. [Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver]
[DBMSSOCNDATABASE=]ConnectionWrite(send()). (#10054) [Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver]
[DBMSSOCNDATABASE=]General network error. Check your network documentation.(#11)

Do these errors suggest a Network Connectivity issue or an ODBC Timeout issue?

Queries use: db.QueryTimeout = 120

Stored procedures use: cnn.CommandTimeout = 0

Any suggestions to begin to track this down?
