I would like to know whether we can use a stored procedure's OUTPUT parameter to a return table as result set?

I would appreciate any practical example using it OUTPUT parameters in stored procedures.

No; the readonly attribute must be set on all table-valued parameters. In order to return a table you must use a function instead o a stored procedure. – Pieter Geerkens Jul 15 '14 at 5:56
