Not sure if this is the best place to ask.

I'm the IT guy at my company. I have a user who has handled all the Crystal Reporting in the company for years. She learned how to do most of what she can do on her own, and we're now hitting a wall with what she can accomplish through trial and error.

I'd like to recommend some training for her, but I'm at a loss what the best options might be. I looked at New Horizons, but 800 bucks for a two day online class leads my gut to feel like this might not be the best value.

Does anyone have any recommendations for me to look into that would offer a good return on our company's money and her own time?

Unfortunately this isn't the sort of thing that the StackExchange userbase is good at answering in a Q format like this. I can always encourage you to try in one of our chatrooms, but since those nominally require a 20 point bump minimum on one of the sites ... if you can coordinate with me I can most likely get you perms for a temporary basis into one of the rooms. I'm not very familiar with Crystal Reports, so don't take my word for granted. If you don't have the money to send/recommend your colleague a long training you might as well search for companies that make their trainings free on youtube for the public.

Eg. for SQL Server Reporting Services I saw a few short movies on Youtube from LearnItFirst. For Crystal Reports I saw some movies from a training company called Ifskills.

Anyway, at some point in time I think that the company will have to invest in a better/more specialized training if the really need more from the report creator.
