I want to understand MySQL index and Fulltext index. Where can I find resources to help me understand it? Or can you help understand MySQL indexing mechanism?

I think this is too broad of a question if you're asking 'how do mysql indexes work'. Can you narrow it down to a specific issue you're trying to understand? Other than that, the mysql docs are the best resource for you to research it. – Derek Downey Dec 22 '11 at 16:13
@DTest I want to know why table have index faster than the non-index one. And with indexed table, 1000 and 1,000,000 records are search through with the same speed? – eureka Dec 22 '11 at 16:44
