My theory is that an older version of the procedure exists. Run this to verify that the continue handler is actually in the procedure: show create procedure cd3

The continue handler should suppress that warning. Is it possible that you created the procedure without the continue handler first, and that's the version that you're running? Try dropping and recreating the procedure.

comment Fastest way to change a 600GB table indexed key datatype from INT to BIGINT
@Noam I'd estimate the ALTER TABLE could take 24 - 96 hours to run. You can get a better estimate by running the ALTER TABLE in a test environment.

comment “Cannot add or update a child row” when deleting a record?
If you convert those hex values to decimal you can get the details on the row being inserted. Can you show the full schema for the two tables?

Those values in information_schema are just estimates. The actual size of the table is the size of the ibd file.

comment Finding and fixing InnoDB index corruption
Thanks for your response. At this point my focus is on determining if it's possible to detect this type of index corruption in a MySQL database, regardless of whether it's on EC2, RDS, managed hosting, etc. Do you have any idea on how to tell if a given DB has this type of index corruption?

comment Finding and fixing InnoDB index corruption
My remaining question is: how can I tell if a database has index corruption? In this case I was lucky enough to notice incorrect query results, but how do I know this doesn't affect other slave DBs?
