Currently I am a Technical Consultant. Previously, I was a Jr. Database Administrator and before that, a SQL Server Database Programmer. My graduate research and studies are primarily involved with database models and optimization. I like to write on my blog about technical problems which I've encountered. What you're looking for is called a pivot; which is not easy with MySQL. I would recommend that you search Stack Overflow for similar issues and start there.
