Optimising table efficiency format integers only apologies, they are select queries, update queries and insert queries. I will be updating single columns and and selecting numbers where as inserting lots of columns as this table is a connector table that connects a details table to a product table.the indexes i think i would need on 3 of the columns as there is alot of addition and selection from this table. |

MySQL Left Join Select all rows Apologies i removed active by mistake. I have tried with INNER JOINS and still the only rows that appear are ones that have a count() that notes NULL |

Storing Different Products and Joining on table Names thanks, That does seem like an effective method there will be other products added to the database at later dates and other types but that can be just added into the tables im guessing. Also the books will have authors, ISBN10s and 13s which is another thing to consider but this is a good starting point for me |
