mysqlcheck to optimize innodb tables — performance/scheduling My main goal is general InnoDB table maintenance, something our current server hasn't received much of. We're using New Relic to record queries and improve query design to optimize from that end too, but would also like to make sure there's not general nightly/weekly type maintenance we can do in order to prevent meltdowns/general issues. |

InnoDB Performance Tuning @DTest, how can I go about changing innodb_flush_log_at_trx_commit? I've looked around online but I want to do it safely. |

InnoDB Performance Tuning Thanks for the suggestions. I've updated the original post with GB totals. I will also try #2 and #3 and post results. I'm assuming #3 also requires stoping the MySQL server? |
