I hold my MCITP in Database Development. Currently, I am working on learning as much about replication as possible... specifically, troubleshooting it when things go wrong. I work for a software firm that provides a solution for city and county health inspection agencies and I fill a role that is a hybrid of development and client services.

Although it looks like I won't be able to get the data needed, this is the best answer and, therefore, I will mark it as such.

In the log folder, I see 5 trace files and the oldest dates back 1 week... The issue occurred about a month ago. In looking at the log, the earliest it goes is 9/21. Looks like we may be out of luck.

That actually might be the simplest way... Is there a way to script that? I need to keep a set of scripts for whenever we refresh one of these databases, I can get all setting back instantly.

I'm assuming that I need to set it to UTF8 then... would this have any implications to other areas of the database?
