I'm a database developer for a CRO that does pharmaceutical and chemical studies. My duties include: designing and building databases, troubleshooting database performance issues, building SSRS reports, installing and configuring SQL Server (2005 and 2008), configuring SQL Server security, configuring SSRS security, and some other stuff.

I also build on-line surveys in PHP using a MSSQL Server 2005 backend for an Economic Development Consulting company.

@MartinSmith deleting the record and reseeding is the pattern that i've been following. Truncate doesn't work on most of our tables since they have FK relationships.

comment Why is this user “Admin” created in all databases?
I was going to say that it was probably in the Model database. Good job figuring it out.

comment What alternatives exist when a table requires too many foreign keys?
I have to agree with Aaron Bertrand, if your design requires you to max out the foreign keys sql server supports, it may be time to consider a redesign.

essentially, maybe you should be looking into a data warehouse. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Data_warehouse

a tangential approach may be creating an etl process to cache the data. how often does the data change, what's the need for the data to be up to date? things along those lines are necessary to ask.

this question's a bit too open ended here for the se format. I did write an answer that should point you in the right direction though.

comment SSRS appears to be ignoring Permissions set using Report Manager
One more thing, could you provide a screen shot of the permissions you're setting?
