I know, the Unix timestamp 32-bit thing that should be 64-bit. Maybe by 2037 or so people start changing those ints to longs? I wouldn't worry much right now because we still have a couple decades and a half.

I'd be curious. But not curious enough as to test it myself, so if you do test it, please tell me :) Also, it might be how your version of MySQL was distributed, maybe it's XAMPP-specific for example. If the bug is not present in LAMP, I wouldn't worry.
