When is the right time to use MariaDB instead of MySQL, and Why? And that's why we have enterprise living in stone age. Just like there's "no reason" to switch from Java, other than the face that Java development (for the language itself) is pretty much dead in the water. You can bet your money that Oracle's going to bother keep up MySQL development. That is the whole point of MariaDB. |
