comment Migrating a database from one PostgresSQL server to another cleanly
This is community site (c) Your question can be edited (or closed) even further. In my opinion it's worthless absolutely, I voted close it here and migrate to DB site instead, but even there it wouldn't have any reason to exist. If you wanted "alternative" method (which one? using UFOs?) you didn't stress it.

I really see no point in asking question w/o any sign of self-study. Moreover, when it's clearly answered question in the official manual, for e. g.: postgresql.org/docs/9.3/static/backup-dump.html#BACKUP-DUMP-ALL There's also no point in tagging it as "ruby-on-rails" since this is irrelevant to the question in question.

comment Is there a PostgreSQL proxy running queries on several servers at once?
I think it wouldn't do, since In parallel mode, replication_mode and load_balance_mode are set to true in pgpool.conf, and I don't want select queries to be replied by server with version being tested.

Nope, not found yet. I doubt there's something like that.

Quite nice code, thanks for sharing. BTW, it could be github'ed, don't you think so? :-)

The 2nd is too obvious, don't you think so?

The 3rd is kinda off-topic. I knew there's PL/Proxy. I don't know however how could it answer my question. Do you? I need no just function calls. I wanna all queries to be transparently being processed on secondary server (as well as on primary). The only thing app would need is usual host/port. The rest would be a black box for it.
