I understand. However I can say SELECT @JNK = SomeColumn FROM SomeTable WHERE SomeOtherColumn = MatchesMultipleRows... So why wasn't this constraint applied here? Anyway thanks and I'll just declare a local table variable and be done with it. Life goes on. :)

+1 for "We have 50k rows per second using stored procs. A sister team using Hibernate can't get one per second" effing ORMs they aren't useful for anything than simple hello world samples.
