comment Linked Server Between SQL Server and iSeries is rounding decimals
I wonder... Our server is 64bit; SQL Server is 64bit; I set the ODBC stuff up in 64bit (because it wouldn't connect when I set them up in 32bit); But, iSeries Access is 32bit... I don't know if that might cause the rounding issues.

@WarrenT The main difference is that the old server is old. Windows Server 2003, SQL Server 2000, i Access v5. The new server is Windows Server 2012, SQL Server 2008 i Access v7, etc. So setting up the ODBC stuff is different, and it's hard for me to figure out where the different settings are on both. I'll get some examples

I'm not sure what it is on the iSeries side. I'm assuming some kind of float. I'm just doing a select * on my side, so unless openquery is converting the data it should be the same...

comment Insert Into MySQL over linked server when a medium text is the last column breaks Int fields
If I changed the insert statement to have the text column not be last then it worked. It's just a weird bug in the mysql db connect stuff. I don't know about InnoDB. We switched to a completely different solution (using MSSql instead of MySQL).
