Check out some of my work on github:

  • NMRPyStar: an API for accessing archived NMR data files in the NMR-Star format used by the BMRB.

  • Miscue-js: validation of JSON files to deal with obnoxious and tricky interoperability issues such as number overflows and duplicate keys

Some cool technologies that I use:

  • Python
  • git
  • Javascript
  • Haskell
  • Java
  • MySQL

comment What is a common way to save 'debit' and 'credit' information?
@user I'm surprised by your comment. As I stated in the answer, all amounts are positive. It's only when you run particular queries that there are negatives as well. If you don't want negatives, then you just don't run those particular queries. If you don't like the extra transactiontypes.multiplier column, you drop it; it's not the core of the model, so no harm done.

Is it just questions that need strict moderation, or is it important that answers are strictly moderated, too? Should answers that are real answers but don't really answer the question be moderated, and if so, how? (btw, thanks for answering my earlier questions)

SE are trialling an alternative way of asking the candidates questions: please see this meta question ………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………… There are varying opinions on what is wrong with StackOverflow. Can you be more specific on what problems you see with it, and what you would do to deal with them or prevent them from happening on DBA.SE?
