First and foremost, I'm a dad. Then I'm a golfer. Since golf doesn't pay the bills, I'm also a developer. Don't get me wrong, I love what I do, it's just that I don't have the time outside of work to develop. Being a dad takes up most of my time at home, and when I have the time, I like to hit the links.
I've been developing with Microsoft products since 1999. I started with Visual Basic 5.0, moved onto 6.0 and then .NET in 2003. Since then, I have worked with both VB .NET and C# working on a multitude of windows, web and service applications. I've always favored Windows Services and Windows Forms applications over Web Development until the advent of MVC3. Now I can't get enough. Fortunately for me, I've landed a position with a company that wants to move to MVC3 as well, and I'm blazing the trail for them.

SQL Server Replication Stored Procedures sp_MSdel_db, sp_MSupd_db, sp_MSins_db I think it might be that replication in production is doing Snapshot replication and in Dev they are doing Transactional Replication. |

Can I get similar Full Text Search functionality without using Full-Text Search? Thanks Mark. I'm going to look into the Lucene.Net for comparison. |
