I'm doing automation at my company and I have to work with various database formats (Foxpro DBF, MS Access, Advantage Database, MySQL, MsSQL) and try to make them work together in different environments.

I've noticed that on of the indexes has this condition expression (with single quotes): !DELETE().AND.(Status='1'.AND.(Status1=1.OR.Status1=2).AND.Status2 = 0). While the other index in the same table with double quotes: !DELETE().AND.(Status<>"0".AND.Status1!=0.AND.Status2!=1) Can this be a problem?

thanks for your comment, @mark-wilkins, I checked the index right after reindexing with the chkindex utility and got lots of problems like this: Problem: Record 84516 did not get hit while skipping through the index There was no info about collations.

thanks for your comment. It turned out to be an update to the BEST, that was not good. We've downgraded to previous version and now we are not getting index corruption error any more (4 days in a row).
