You can probably fix this by re-ordering your LD_LIBRARY_PATH so that /usr/local/lib/ is at the end, rather than the beginning. Edit your question with the output from: ldd `which gpggpg`

comment listener does not currently know of SID given in connect descriptor in oracle 10g and solaris 10 env
Is that all of the ` listener.ora` file? The problem is because the database thinks it needs to auto-register with a listener called LISTENER_OTRS (I think). You'll need a SID_LIST_LISTENER_OTRS section in your listner.ora file, plus a LISTENER_OTRS section.

It'll be a NLS_LANG problem, but you need to edit your question and explain the problem more thoroughly.

comment Where is my old partition in mysql show create table?
I suspect you're actually repartitioning the entire table like that (and making the p20 partition very big). From the documentation, I think you need a REORGANIZE PARTITION clause. I'm sure a MySQL DBA will answer it soon and take my credit :)

comment Localhost vs LAN Database Performance
I do wonder why you don't mention network round-trip times. They can be a bigger problem than link saturation. 1000 queries locally with a tiny RTT won't cause a problem. Do the same on a 100ms RTT link and you've got a massive problem.

comment Expanding system tablespace
I'm with @JustinCave on this one. Do a root cause analysis first to find out why the tablespace is so big - don't add a datafile or extend yet. If you need help with that, ask another question.

Have you tried excluding the directory from virus scanning? Seems to be the main cause of this

A status of UNKNOWN just means that the DB connection is manually stated in the listener.ora rather than registered automatically by the database.

Did you fix your database?? dba.stackexchange.com/questions/30542/… You don't need a new listener to fix that.

Hang on - did you fix your database (I'm just looking at the other question you posted on the site)???
