It happened 6 seconds after an Windows Service was started up. This Windows Service has no relation or permission to log in to SQL via DAC.

It appeared in the error log in Event Viewer. And by died, I mean it stopped responding to everything. All of the applications stopped working because they couldn't get connected to the box. A restart of the server was the result.
