comment upgrading posgresql 9.0 to 9.4 with pg_upgrade on CentOS 6.6
Could you show the non-commented lines of the old cluster's postgresql.conf?

comment Tool to find CPU utilization for a particular query in Postgres
Why have you asked this question once again? Have you checked my comment on the other one (which, incidentally, overlaps with @a_horse_with_no_name's answer below...)?

Get the PID from pg_stat_activity and look it up in top. Or just use pg_view, for example. (I work for the company, but the tool is free.)

comment Moving PostgreSQL database to new server
Please be aware that the current PostgreSQL version is 9.4 - about six years newer than 8.4, not to mention 8.3... If by 'move the data over' you mean restoring from an existing dump (I suppose this as you know the data is OK), then you should be able to restore everything without serious problems. A few years ago, the only problems I experienced AFAIK were some easy-to-fix errors related to implicit casting.

comment Errors importing data using COPY comand at postgresql 9.3.5
Well, some of the errors that you show definitely don't come from the two lines of your input. It's very hard to tell what's exactly wrong. Try to export the data in a proper, quoted CSV format and COPY that.

Have you tried to specify the delimiter?

comment Can duplicate pg_hba entries result in a connection error?
Here you don't even get to the pg_hba.conf. The problem is stated in the message: the host either does not listen on that port, or the port is not available from host trying to connect. This latter can be a result of missing routing or firewalls or I don't know.

comment Do Statement-level AFTER triggers occur asynchronously after the statement returns?
You could, for example, drop a row into a sort of housekeeping table and visit it from a scheduled job. Once it finds this row there, it refreshes the MV.

@srchalikonda What have you exactly rebuilt? You mean --with-ldap when runnning ./configure?

comment Centos 7, Postgresql Failed to Read Permission Data Directory in mounted Partition
You are missing some permissions. postgres must have rwx access down to the data/ directory, I mean on all direrctories up to /run/.

comment Create/copy new superuser from an existing one
The thing is that if super1 has some user-specific settings, those are not inherited this way.
