Proper Index for WHERE X <> 1 AND Y <> 1 ORDER BY Z Can't legally post DDL, otherwise I would have. However, I tried Martin's example and it got me scratching my head. The generated query was actually not doing "m.IsFlag1 = 0", it was doing "m.IsFlag1 != 1". Still not completely clear on why that would cause a sort, but in any case I see where I was going wrong. |

Investigating/Troubleshooting I/O Spikes The SAN admin is showing us IOPS data, which I think would be quantity? We are seeing performance degradation, which is why we started looking into it, which I would imagine also indicates latency issues. |
