comment How to manage dynamic tables in Visual Studio 2010 Sql Server Database Projects
I am using SSDT as far as I know (I installed it and converted the project, I needed access to master as a reference). I'll give it a read today. Thanks.

Correct, dynamic schema based on the environment they are deployed in, but for the most part all the columns names stay the same, just how they are computed is dynamic. I will get it updated to be more clear.

Turns out last week I wrote another procedure to do the alter (and then subsequently forgot), so modifying the post deploy works

I think I meant is there an implementation that has the same execution plan. Might be a naive question, im pretty green when it comes to RDBMS's. I just had a problem with the first query returning different execution plans for different filter's in the where clause.

Seems to be working! It looks like I have a bug somewhere that is causing us to have duplicate table1_names, which is throwing a wrench in the query, but a disparate issue.

@Aaron I probably have my terminology off, but we have two rows that together need to be unique. I don't think it is enforced in our schema.
