@AaronBertrand the table I referenced in the question is a view. This may seem basic, but I see on your link that there's a difference between exec and execute. I was using exec stored_proc before - should I be using execute?

@AaronBertrand 2008 (not R2). It's actually a view. The schema prefix is set everywhere I know how. I don't see Execute as Owner in the permissions settings
