comment Extract mdf & ldf files from backup file?
I have many customers and sometimes they give me backup for fix some issue. I want to restore their backup as ms sql files and use them in local file without attaching to sql server (connection runtime attaching)

comment sql server , set N prefix as unicode for all queries by default
The SQL queries passed from c# by string but it prepare parameterizing! We are talking about SQL server which dose not trust themself. It s very easy to undrestand, When I declare a field as Nvarchar so sql must save as unicode!

What you mean of 'declare the variables as a unicode'? if you mean pass the unicode string, so When I pass my sql query to sql server without N prefix, the sql server save my values as default characters (non unicode) and when I get that values, it returns all characters as default chars (non unicode) and these all are not depond on my c# variables type!

@AaronBertrand , When I set type of my field to nvarchar, so I decided to save values as unicode, isn't it? well, why we need use N prefix for unicode fields? yes that is boring and if you don't know I have to tell you that there are other queries except select query, so the select keyword is not boring.

So that is un professional acts, when we set type of field as nvarchar so we decide to save or select value from that field as unicode. so N prefix is boring.

comment Recover deleted records
@JackDouglas , yes new records since the last backup, because user insert more than 2000 records in one day without any backup and press wrong keys together which that delete all records in one second from all tables.
