Performance impact of including result column in indexed columns Oh, even before I have working SQL, that answers all I needed. Thanks! |

Performance impact of including result column in indexed columns @RolandoMySQLDBA I'm still in the design phase on paper, unfortunately, since there are many other factors outside database design that need to go into the finished product. I'll try to add any info that I can. Was it too early to ask without this info? |

How to search with partitions in my query? Please do not post the same question to multiple sites. Pick the site and try there, and if it is closed as off-topic, ask on the site you are told to use when it is closed. |

want to optimize this query by removing two SELECT and two JOINS Hello. Again, you've asked this on Stack Overflow and have been given an answer before the question was closed. Please edit this post with details such as what database software you are using(MSSQL, MySQL, etc.) and info on what your table looks like. Also, reposting the same thing across multiple sites or on the same site is discouraged. |

MySQL 5.5 accepts password but then closes connection I guess I'll just have MyISAM tables for fulltext and InnoDB for the transactional stuff... |

MySQL 5.5 accepts password but then closes connection I have tried 5.5 to no avail. Also, I need InnoDB fulltext search for the project I am developing. |

MySQL 5.5 accepts password but then closes connection I'm not trying to report a bug, but I'm trying to get up and running again. Thanks anyway. |

MySQL 5.5 accepts password but then closes connection Even with that option in my.ini there is no added data in the Windows event log or C:\Program Files\MySQL\MySQL Server 5.6\data\[computername].err. If it helps, I don't really care about the data as it's a dev machine and I have my schema ready as an SQL script, but I do need a working server. |
