Feb 1, 2016 at 9:26 | comment | added | Federico Ponzi | Please don't think this problem in terms of data warehousing, but in terms of how to query and/or big data. I have different daily snapshots of my database, and I would like a way to query them effectively.
Jan 30, 2016 at 23:00 | comment | added | dnoeth | Why daily snapshots? How much of the 250 GB changes a day? What's wrong with a Slowly Changing Dimensions approach?
Jan 30, 2016 at 17:38 | comment | added | Tom V | Daily snapshots of 250GB? With those requirements? How?

Jan 29, 2016 at 8:39 | comment | added | Federico Ponzi | Because I don't want to define new tables before loading my datasets. Sure if there is a solution that can handle this problem but needs table to be defined ahead I would choose it anyway.

It seems you have a decent structure to your data.. is there any specific reason why you are looking for a scheme-free solution? By scheme I am assuming table definitions/structures
