The biggest obstacle was overcoming connection pool issues, which was solved by having the connection string set to master, and then a USE [DBName] after connection. In terms of the query, I ran select * from sys.dm_exec_requests where session_id>50 and session_id<>@@spid, and it's a short list of 4 to 5 requests, max, and they leave the list within 500 ms typically. But I'm going to try this once we get the slow down, it got restarted on Sunday, so now it's humming as usual. | |
