I assumed parallel queries would be a general benefit and therefore hesitated to disable them. But if our performance has degraded, then I suppose keeping them doesn't make sense either. But I also wasn't positive that was the underlying issue. I think we'll disable, see if things improve (likely based on testing), and try to improve our statistics before attempting to reintroduce parallel queries down the road. | |
