Jun 21, 2023 at 12:10 | comment | added | J.D. | @VivekNuna "SQL Server allows you to allocate resources at the database level, such as CPU limits..." - I think you're referring to Resource Governor which is a feature that does the opposite of what you want. Resource Governor allows you to limit how much resources a particular user can use, within a database. You can't specifically divide up and claim a specific amount of resources for a given database or user. It just sets a max cap on resources one can use. Additionally it's an Enterprise-only feature, so unless you're licensed for Enterprise Edition, you can't use it anyway.

Jun 21, 2023 at 7:58 | comment | added | kesadae11 | then please clarify the question, you wrote "databases", then why was it important that there is 100 database? @vonPryz is right and I misunderstand this question, there is no short answer, You should find out why the performance is poor
Jun 21, 2023 at 7:55 | comment | added | Vivek Nuna | @vonPryz Is this statement correct? SQL Server allows you to allocate resources at the database level, such as CPU limits, memory allocation, and I/O priority. By moving the tables to a separate database, I can allocate dedicated resources to that database, ensuring that the queries have sufficient resources available for execution, potentially improving their performance.
Jun 21, 2023 at 7:48 | comment | added | Vivek Nuna | @kesadae11 These are not cross database queries.. and these databases are on the same server
Jun 21, 2023 at 7:47 | comment | added | kesadae11 | I said "it might"- I edited and made it bold formatted to be more clear, I also mentioned that it is a deeper problem than it looks like. I suggested some things to check points, disk, network, memory... It will help him to find the weak points of the infrastructure.
