I had an event last night where I dropped a database and then created the same database right after each other (then populated it with minimal data). Then about 2 hours later I got a disk alert that MySQL was low in disk space. It looks like I lost 20+ gb of storage.

I understand that file per table of 0 will not allow me to reclaim disk space but this seemed to have a really odd effect. It looks about an hour to lose 20gb of space but it happened over a period of an hour.

RDS storage

Is this normal?
