I am currently working on an Oracle 18.3 DB and I have a script which allows me to create an encrypted seed PDB. As part of this script, we encrypt the system tablespaces (like SYSTEM, SYSAUX, and UNDOTBS1) for this PDB using an AUTOLOGIN wallet and then we attempt to close the wallet. However while closing the wallet, we run into the error ORA-28439: cannot close wallet when SYSTEM, SYSAUX, UNDO, or TEMP tablespaces are encrypted.

The reason why we wanted to close the wallet, is because when the wallet is open we could see that the wallet type would be shown as PASSWORD (See below)

SQL> select * from v$encryption_wallet;

WRL_TYPE
--------------------
WRL_PARAMETER
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
STATUS                 WALLET_TYPE      WALLET_OR KEYSTORE FULLY_BAC
------------------------------ -------------------- --------- -------- ---------
    CON_ID
----------
FILE
/opt/oracle/admin/<SID>/wallet
OPEN                   PASSWORD         SINGLE    NONE     NO
     1

Closing the wallet would ensure that the type of the wallet would go back to AUTOLOGIN. However since I need to keep the tablespaces encrypted and cannot close the wallet because of this, is there any SQL statement or method to alter the WALLET_TYPE so that we can change it back to AUTOLOGIN? (See below)

SQL> select * from v$encryption_wallet;

WRL_TYPE
--------------------
WRL_PARAMETER
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
STATUS                 WALLET_TYPE      WALLET_OR KEYSTORE FULLY_BAC
------------------------------ -------------------- --------- -------- ---------
    CON_ID
----------
FILE
/opt/oracle/admin/<SID>/wallet
OPEN                   AUTOLOGIN        SINGLE    NONE     NO
     1

NB: This script works fine on Oracle DB 12.2.
