How bad of an idea is it to include both a FREETEXTTABLE and a CONTAINSTABLE search in the same query? for example, something like:

SELECT FT_TBL.Description
FROM Production.ProductDescription AS FT_TBL
    INNER JOIN FREETEXTTABLE(Production.ProductDescription,
    *,
    'test*') AS KEY_TBL
ON FT_TBL.ProductDescriptionID = KEY_TBL.[KEY]
UNION ALL
SELECT FT_TBL.Description
FROM Production.ProductDescription AS FT_TBL
    INNER JOIN CONTAINSTABLE(Production.ProductDescription,
    *,
    'test') AS KEY_TBL
ON FT_TBL.ProductDescriptionID = KEY_TBL.[KEY]

am i breaking some rules in order to get the 'best of both worlds' here, or is there a better way?
