I have aurora postgres (9.6) master and reader. Time to time its getting swapped and message shows server process(PID 111111) was terminated by signal 9: Killed

I didn't kill anything, and suspecting AWS does itself to avoid any load or memory issue? If it does, what is the threshold / metrics and where it would be?

  • An unexpected signal 9 is usually the kernel's oom (out of memory) killer. Check the log file /var/log/syslog, if aurora lets you. – jjanes Apr 1 at 18:11
